Hi, my name is Ziqi. I am currently a student of Masters of Entertainment Industry Management Program at Carnegie Mellon University. I double majored in Music History and Industry and Statistics at UCLA, which gave me a unique perspective on the creative and technical aspects of the entertainment business. I have always aimed to merge my passions with a career at the junction of entertainment and technology.

The courses I took in the MEIM Program helped me in shaping myself to succeed in the workplace. My participation in the Multimedia class at Carnegie Mellon has expand my skill set. I learned six different software programs in the Adobe Creative Suite and completed assignments using each one, giving me a well-rounded understanding of the tools and techniques used in multimedia production. In the data visualization course, I learned techniques to utilize data visualization tools such as Tableau to convey information clearly and effectively. From Project Management, I learned how to lead a project team to work with different stakeholders, break down a complex project into a comprehensive plan, and use effective tools such as Microsoft Project to ensure that all the deliverables are completed on time and within budget. I also have experience in database management and programming in Python, R, and SQL.
